Brush and floss are imperative to keep your teeth behind your braces in mint-condition. Brushing is incredibly necessary because it stays stuck between our teeth even after we brush food. This induces plaque accumulation that can only be replaced with the dental floss.
What Happens If I Do Not Floss?
The effects of not flossing easily add up with or without the braces. For example, it hardens after food remains on the teeth for a certain amount of time and transforms into tartar, which a dentist may extract. Tarter can build up under braces at a much higher rate, where the particles will disappear unnoticed and unbound for long stretches of time.
