Headaches can be painful, and frequently come from unpleasant circumstances. Certain factors can include fatigue, some underlying medical problems, and other narcotics. However, a well recognized cause of headaches is Malocclusion which is the name given to the misalignment of the teeth. Braces, or other orthodontic treatments, can help relieve the symptoms of headaches caused by Malocclusion.
What Is Malocclusion?
Malocclusion is the wrong arrangement of the teeth when closing the jaws. It influences not just the teeth structure but also the jaw shape and facial expression. Few malocclusion symptoms are genetic, but other cases are acquired from a poor habit, or by early teeth loss.
